A favored shade of red among many Hermes enthusiasts, Rouge Garance, which gets its name from the red dye produced from the root of the Madder plant (called Garance in French). This hue is a bold, strong red that captures in one all the facets its namesake dye produces. In different lights, rouge Garance can appear slightly orange or slightly purple, but always, undeniably, red.
