This vintage Classic Chanel Medium Square Flap Bag is crafted with diamond quilted black lambskin leather with 24k gold-plated hardware and a single convertible leather-trimmed chain-link shoulder strap. There is a single exterior patch pocket on the back, a front slip pocket under the main flap, two interior compartments plus an interior zipped pocket for valuables. Inside the Bag is lined with maroon leather. The longest chain drop for this Bag is 40cm and the chain doubled and at its shortest is 22cm. This Bag can be on the shoulder or across the body.
The Square series are rare and sought after, giving you an extra 5cm of height to the Bag compared to the standard Medium Double Flap size. Making it a fantastic everyday Bag to fit in your belongings.
This Bag is in very good vintage condition with some minor signs of use. The hallmark on the CC turn lock confirms the gold hardware is plated in 24K gold, a real collectors item. Before 2008, Chanel Classic Flaps with gold coloured hardware (chains, clasps, grommets, and CC turn locks) were all plated in real 24K gold. There are some minor creases to the leather.
